Ofloxacin Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic which is used to treat a variety of conditions and bacterial infection.  Infections include such as bronchitis, pneumonia, gonococcal infection, and diarrhoea. It is also used to treat bacterial infections of the skin, prostate, or urinary tract (bladder and kidneys), pelvic inflammatory disease and Chlamydia. This medicine is not recommended for use in cases of common cold, flu or other viral infections. Ofloxacin belongs to a class of drugs called quinolone antibiotics.

Do not take this medicine with any of the following drugs:

Cisapride

Droperidol

Antacids

Cimetidine

Cyclosporine

Didanosine

Medicines for diabetes, pain and swelling like ibuprofen, naproxen

Multivitamins with minerals

Probenecid

Sucralfate

Theophylline

Precautions
